Wow, I never actually saw this before... My friends only recommended me Steins Gate and Zero, they didn't say anything about any movie!

2025-10-28 17:52:43 +0000 UTCGood Movie. Iβm glad you like Steins;Gate so much. I always feel like itβs a bit underrated in the mainstream or at least often overlooked. The slow buildup, the complex story and the character-focused approach instead of flashy action can be barriers that turn people off before they realize how great the show actually is. So itβs always nice to see people appreciating a show like this.

2025-10-25 00:06:11 +0000 UTCI thought it was super weird too when I saw the whole year with zero contact thing, but I was looking it up and think I read somewhere that in a later novel release that covered the movie, it was changed so Okabe and Kurisu did keep contact regularly. And I would like to believe that too...

In addition to 24, you can also watch "The Sagacious Wisdom of Cognitive Computing" that which is a series of four 3-4 minute shorts that was collaborated between the makers of Steins;Gate and IBM for promoting IBM's research in cognitive computing. There's also potentially new Steins;Gate content being released in the future: 1. Remake Steins;Gate Re:Boot is a visual novel remake of the original with updated visuals, and "story additions." It was supposed to be released this year, and it's too early to tell if they are going to remake the anime. 2. Sequel About a year ago, it was confirm that a sequel is in the works, is currently in the "concept phase," and we have no other details. It was previously reported in 2020 that a thematic sequel would be created which was initially and internally called Steins;God and which would include Kurisu, Okabe, and Daru as characters. 3. Live Adaptation It was confirmed about a year ago that a live-adaptation was in the works with no other details. Years ago, it was reported that the company responsible for Steins;Gate, MAGES, was in collaboration with Skydance for creating a live adaptation of Steins;Gate. This was somewhat of a big deal because Skydance is one of the largest Hollywood production companies, and the live-adaptation was said to include at least one famous Hollywood actor/actress.

2025-10-22 23:39:13 +0000 UTCRemember in the original Steins Gate when Kurisu and Okabe have their first kiss in the lab he said that it wasn't his first one? Kurisu overwrote his first kiss to be with her so that he would remember her and the Steins Gate world line more vividly. I think. Time is weird.
