My oma made German style cheesecake when I was younger, but she loves NY style so she always gets that for me now lol I'm always like "you got me into cheesecake with the most amazing homemade cheesecake, how you gonna do me dirty like this getting me overly sweet, dense crap from Walmart?" Lol so one of these days, I really wanna try to make it like she used to 🥰 I'm not a huge fan of sweets but anything with cream cheese is gorgeous 🤌✨️

2025-08-23 16:39:01 +0000 UTCAbout the chicken bones - I believe they were bones of already consumed chickens. South Korea takes recycling seriously, and food waste is seperated from other wastes. I think he saved it in his freezer until he could go dispose it off properly.

2025-08-22 09:44:18 +0000 UTCIn Germany we bake our cheesecake but it's suuuuuuper different from the NY style one. MUCH fluffier, fresher and less sweet and dense. Cheesecake is my fav cake but I hate the American one hahaha it's way too rich for me

I Live Alone and the fridge show are both long running on big Korean TV channels and really popular with the general public. That’s why Jin sometimes teases Hobi about always being on TV. On a side note, I think you’d love Culinary Class Wars on Netflix. It’s a cooking competition show and some of the younger chefs you saw here were on it. Chef Paik is a judge there too. Webtoon Artist Poong (like Kian) is the only one who isn’t a professional chef while the others are actual professionally trained chefs and run their own fine dining restaurants, which is why they always joke about his lack of skills and techniques. And the good looking chef has two Michelin stars.
