Code Geass S2 Episode 18

Comments

i hate that little snake that tells tohdoh not to trust zero while they're in the decisive battle of everything. like, did he expect the black knights to follow him instead ? no. he's incompetent and not even a high-tier knightmare pilot. what a worm, trying to break up the chain of command with no way of replacing zero's intelligence. the actual battle didn't matter to him, he personally hates zero and would rather be a britannian slave than just follow zero's orders. i still don't even know his name , after watching this show multiple times. i just know him as the worm that told people not to trust zero LOL

Arcane ✦

"Do the ends justify the means?" is a question that comes up a lot in this show. Mostly in relation to Lelouch/Zero. But soon this question should be asked again and I look forward to it and I hope you guys discuss it.

There is a definitive bad guy and her name is Nina! Justice for table-kun

I think it's a good moment to let you know that Nina's surname is "Einstein" and unlike the real life Einstein she had a bit more of a hands-on approach in "nucelar reserach and development for mass destruction".

PROTOTYPE

I love your guys' discussion on if Lelouch is even the good guy anymore. And I agree its hard to say there are "good guys" and "bad guys" in war. It reminds me of the ending of season one when Kallen asked "you used me? you used the Japanese?" and he replied "And as a result Japan will be free, you cant be upset about that.", is he still the good guy just as long as the result is achieved? If they fail to achieve their goal is he just a bad guy for causing bad things to happen? Suzaku always upset me as a kid, I thought he was just in way and being stubborn, but when you look at how many people lost their loved ones because of Lelouch, it makes me realize Suzaku only wanted to avoid such tragedy. But then he's complicit in the tragedies the empire was causing anyways... The author did a great job of showing how hard it is to have justice in war, and how hard/complex it is topple a morally wrong authoritative power. I only wish I could binge your reactions to the rest of the show! So much greatness to come, I feel like these are some of the best episodes of the whole series.
