Ok, so probably it has been mentioned to you before, but some fan facts about the characters ( mainly class A, and All Might ). Their names, at least phonetically ( maybe in kanji writing too, I am not 100% sure ), give hints about some of their core personality / personality traits and / or abilities. And in the case of All Might and Midoriya, it shows which number holder they are for the One For All quirk. Examples for this, Katsuki Bakugo can be taken to mean " Desire to Win ( Katsuki ) Strong Explosion ( Bakugo ), or Minoru Mineta, with Minoru meaning " to ripen " or "to bear fruit ", which relates to his quirk. Yaoyorozu Momo too, with the Kanji for Yaoyorozu, as seen in her estates entrance ( when they visited to be taught by her ), it's literal meaning is " 8 million ", but Yaoyorozu as figurative meaning is " many things ". Kaminari Denki is the most literal naming corelation to his abilities, because it translates to " Lightning " ( Kaminari ) "Electricity / Electrical Energy" ( Denki ) Ida Tenya, with his given name, phonetically, can be taken to mean " Heavenly Arrow" , referring to his speed quirk... etc etc As for Midoriya Izuku and All Might ( Toshinori Yagi ) both have a part of their names that can be read as a number ( Ku and Ya respectively, with 9 and 8 ), and Midori means green ( hence his overall green pallette) and Yagi means goat ( the way his deflated form resembles one, and cause he's the GOAT of his universe ) Oh, and P.S., many of the locations ( such as the train station, the beach Deku trained in etc ) have names from the Star Wars franchise It is something that I always found fun as I watched and read the series, and thought to share. 2026-01-29 17:19:09 +0000 UTCBakugo was also defeated, but he didn't fail the exam like Sero because at least he was able to stand up to All Might while Deku ran way, Sero was defeated instantly. It didn't matter that he saved Mineta; he knew he was going up against Midnight, he knew what quirk she had , and yet he couldn't hold his breath for even a second.

I had an experience recently where I confronted a pickpocket that tried to steal from me and stole from another girl right after. I managed to hold him there for a few minutes, got the girl's phone back and of course I let people around me know what happened expecting that someone would help/call security. It happened in a train filled with people. What's interesting is that no one actually stepped in to help like I was expecting and eventually the guy pushed me and got away. Now the thing is, I'm not originally from the country that this happened in. I've grown up in a place where pickpocketing is quite common and usually people in public react to it. I found it insane that everyone just stood by and watched. Afterwards, I had a talk with a friend that grew up in this country, which is relatively safe. What he shared was that to him it would be unthinkable that someone would lie to his face. It made me realize the difference in perceived safety that both of us grew up in. It really shows how a person can get too comfortable in their environment.

2026-01-28 22:58:08 +0000 UTCIm not really a fan of fillers in shonen anime normaly I dont really watch then and if I do I dont revisit them but this one is great its always fun to watch. Plus they actually tell you its filler at the start which doesnt happen normaly so thats great.

Sucks that it spoils what's going on in the anime where the episode interrupts, but hopefully you were both not paying a lot of attention to that, and that it was brief enough with enough distance away that you'll have forgotten about it! Can't wait for the movie! Haven't watched this 1 since it came out in cinemas lol
