It was meant to take 3 full strength smashes but deku was able to throw multiple punches. The reasoning is that majority of them were not full strength, as it was not needed in the moment

2026-02-21 21:19:20 +0000 UTCWhen I think about it. Gauntlet was supposed to handle 3 All Might's smashes, but Midoriya is stronger. So I kind of waiting for a plot twist that it broke before the grand finale. Well, still loved it all.

Lol other anime movies gotta take note! The fight in this movie, 1 other movie, and 1 of the later episodes are so insane. They're my favorites in any anime ever so I can't wait until you guys get there lol

Like Gran Torino said, "His only redeeming feature was his body," which was why he was able to intuitively grasp the power of One for All from the beginning, where as Deku could just barely hold the power after specifically training for it.

The "Two Heroes" can refer to lots of characters. You could interpret it as Dave and All Might, All Might and Deku, or Deku and Melissa. Just a detail I love!

I don’t know why people say it isn’t canon (not here, in other comments lol), because a lot of things actually make sense within the main series. Also, don’t forget that episode 1 of season 3 is a filler (and not really worth watching), so you can skip it.

I don't think it's technically canon to the events of the story (correct me if I'm wrong chat), but its nice to see side content that's written well and feels functionally as if it could've happened in the canon, for the most part.
