2025-10-26 21:02:33 +0000 UTCThe talk with Alfie is probably the best moment in this show (so far) for me. It was just a wakeup call for the viewer that Tommy isn't a respectable person from the perspective of commonly acknowledged morals and law. Tom Hardy is a really good actor!

Brilliant acting by everyone involved: Michael, who previously showed subtle signs of the beast inside him finally takes action. The look he gives Polly after killing the priest - chilling. Polly herself, getting accused of leaking the plans for the robbery and consequently going through the 5 stages of grief concerning her relationship with the painter. Alfie, rightfully calling out Tommy's hypocrisy about only caring about the lives of his own family. And of course Tommy himself, scared to death about his son's kidnapping, finding himself back underground digging tunnels and eventually ending up betraying his entire family. The writing, the soundtrack, the suspense, the cinematography, the setup for the next season. Just incredible in my opinion!
