Aizawa's quirk to erase people's quirks doesn't work on humans who have naturally mutated appearances. The music of My Hero Academia is epic because it is the same composer as Haikyuu. Talking of similiarities, Voice Actors-wise, Bakugo is Nishinoya (also Garfiel from Re Zero), Tenya Iida is Kageyama (also Jiji in Dan da Dan), Shigaraki the hand guy is Tsukishima (also Meruem in Hunter x Hunter). You mentioned how Todoroki sounds evil, well he is Eren from AoT. And I know others have pointed out that Asui the frog girl is Maomao in Apothecary Diaries, another character with a green colour scheme.

So far, we've just been getting the backstory and warmup 🥰 Also feel free to theorize and come up with ideas about the world in the show. Personally, I find it fun to fill in the gaps, and certain things may not be explicitly explained, but you can see things that inform an answer at various points in the show, so if you have fun with it, I love hearing different theories and ideas. My cousin came up with some really good ones I'll try to remember as we go ☺️ (she even wrote a couple papers on it for her creative writing and I think her sociology and psychology classes. She goes wild with it 😂)

I grew up with Tobey Maguire spiderman and the ironman trilogy getting me interested enough to read marvel comics but All Might especially in ep12 and onwards manages to more be a true icon of what a hero really is. Crazy that this series is an obvious homage to western superheros and yet manages to make such an amazing selfless hero who will go beyond his limits for those in need. Even without being a major fan of the show I still absolutely love this guy

Won't go deeper into them because they do play some role in having advantages or disadvantages in certain matchups. Just trust there is no form of bestiality or at least it was never implied. They're literally just mutations and the mutations get crazier each generation because they get mixed. The physical mutuations manifest from birth... so Cementoss looked like that since birth and so does Tsu and Tsukoyomi (Falco), and Cat police.
