Ah so refreshing. Horimiya was one of my favorite comfort mangas to read back in the day when my parents would drop me off at my grandma's for the summer. It's so nice seeing it animated, even if the pacing was a bit too fast. ☺️

Missing pieces is exactly what the title suggests, bits of their life that the main series skipped, all of it in a fun little bundle and so much fun!! Hope ya'll enjoy it just as much!!

2025-11-14 10:35:40 +0000 UTCSeason 2 is a little different, it's got expanded scenes and cut scenes that could (should?) have been in season 1. It is TOTALLY worth watching though, lots of great stuff. It feels a little different in order/pacing, but there's some amazing moments, and the bookend to season 2 is wonderful.

I relate to Miyamura, in middle school I was depressed, had no friends, and I was ashamed for liking the things I did. In a particularly dark period of my life, I had felt tired of life and wondered what the purpose of my life was, having nothing to look forward to. Horimiya motivated me to put myself out there, and I made my best friends who I still hang out with half a decade later. It was slow and painful, but I’m pretty satisfied with my life now. Thanks for reacting to such an important piece of my life!
