2022-02-12 18:34:43 +0000 UTCStephen King and the short story Lawnmower Man had nothing to do with the movie. The producers had the rights to the short story and decided to bill the movie as “Stephen King’s The Lawnmower Man”. When King found out the movie had nothing to do with his work, he requested his name be removed. The producers didn’t remove it, even when the movie came out on home video. Finally, King ended up suing, and the producers finally removed his name from the film. Also, there’s footage out there of the builds of Mother 3 for N64.
