The Week That Was: 02/07 - 02/11/2022

Howdy, Nextlanders! Once again it has been a busy week here at Nextlander, and as I'm sure a number of you are gearing up for the Big Super Game Bowl this weekend, seemed prudent to get this recap up ahead of all that footballing so you can catch up! So here ya go with all the stuff we done made this past week.

Alex Tests His Kung-Fu Against Sifu 

Sifu is pretty good! Sifu is pretty hard! Normally the second thing would cancel out the first thing for me, but I'm really digging the combat system--if not necessarily the progression systems--it's got going on. Watch as I have what was up to that point the best run I'd ever had in Sifu as I kick plant guy's ass before getting whooped by bo staff guy.

Weekly Ramblecast 035: Wheeljack Got Jacked

God, this game. So, some of you may remember I did a little series over at Giant Bomb, the impeccably named Mass Alex, where I played through the first three Mass Effect games. SOME OF YOU have been insisting ever since that I should check out Andromeda, and now you people are getting your wish. I hope you're as happy as our stoned protagonist appears to be at all times!

Friday Fun Stream: Brad Attempts to Defeat Mega Man (DOS) 

Ever since our DOS games stream some weeks back, people really wanted to see Brad tackle some of those games we touched on in full. Well, the monkey's paw has curled, because Brad chose the truly demonic Mega Man port. Will he be able to handle the nightmare that is this game? Will any of us be able to handle the nightmare that is Captain N's version of Mega Man? Tune in to find out!
