Huh, my school experience was a bit different. I went through public school in Ohio (k-2), North Carolina (3-6) and New York (7-12) from the ‘90’s-00’s. The school systems were set up K-5th elementary, 6th-8th middle school and 9th-12th high school. In Ohio, there were nearby school districts had a different system where 7th-9th were a Junior High, but I never experienced that myself.
