2022-07-08 15:27:05 +0000 UTCDays of Thunder was a very blatant attempt to recapture Top Gunโs success; same star, producers, and director. I havenโt heard anything particularly good or bad about it. The most notable thing about it for me is that Paramount destroyed all the 70mm prints of Terrance Malickโs Days of Heaven because somebody made a mistake in clearing out the inventory of 70mm prints of Days of Thunder.
