Weekly Ramblecast 112: Reaper Madness

One offhand mention of Mass Effect somehow took over like half of this week's ramble, but there was still time for us to fit in some chat about the fate of Vinny's trade show lanyards and the toilet party at Alex's house as well.

(00:06:35) The same goes for old manuals
(00:12:41) Alex's modest PC game collection makes an appearance
(00:19:04) Maybe holding on to old stuff isn't so worthwhile

(00:27:05) Woodland creatures, one of life's simple pleasures
(00:29:34) Always nice to check in with the neighborhood herpetologist
(00:35:32) Mass Effect still gets us talking at the drop of a hat
(00:40:21) Now we're just writing Mass Effect 4
(00:48:30) Martin Sheen rules
(00:56:01) Untangling the history of BioWare and Star Wars games is a lot

Comments

A binder is a good idea. I have a binder with all my race bibs from the past six years with date and my results written on them.

Graeme Hobbs

AKA: Why no, EA didn't learn anything from the rushed development of Mass Effect 3, why do you ask? For me, James Vega asking for everyone's eggs order the morning after was the high point. What a dude's dude.

Dr. Judge, Private Eye

Mass Effect Andromeda is one of the biggest ball drops I can think of in video games. I wanted to love it and see a whole new galaxy, but no. It’s dead, only to be mentioned in passing on some hidden text log in a no reward side quest in the next game. Also, +1 to Citadel DLC being the ending. “I am Garrus Vakrian and this is my favorite spot on the Citadel” scene is probably my favorite thing from the whole series.
