2025-06-04 20:49:34 +0000 UTCThe last time I was called in for potential jury duty was before a holiday and they announced the case was a high profile one that could potentially run for 18 months. You could sense the chill that went through the room. Fortunately, the judge ended up sending everyone home to get started on the holiday sooner, but the 30 minutes between that statement and being released was some real sweating bullets.
