Hope you’re having a terrific Saturday :)

This post is meant to be another way to say thank you all for the support and lovely words in the last couple of months. We couldn’t imagine a better way to start the second season of Highlands! We’re really grateful for the incredible welcome of the Empire of Sun and the Barbarian Hordes (Yes, we promise you there’ll be more "barbarian" minis very very soon).

Today we’re super proud to say that you have unlocked the 1000 Patron Goal (one month ago but it took us a while to finish it, we had to change almost every pose) which was the variation of the Winged Hussars on foot. Because let’s be honest... you don’t have enough minis to print, let’s add some more! This time the wings come separate from the body, so it is easier for print and transport the miniatures, and also useful in case you want to create an unit without wings. These eight miniatures are being pre-supported and they will be available soon.

And we can also announce the first event for this October in Highlands Miniatures... *drum roll*... the War Steam Machine Design Contest for the Empire of Sun! Along this month, all of you will take the place of a hard work renaissance engineer under the rule of the Sun Emperor to design your own version of a War Steam Machine, and the best design will be chosen by the council of the Mergenheim Engineering School to be part of the Sunland army.

We'll let you know more about the contest and the rules to participate the next Monday 4.
