Update: Discord, Posting Schedule

Hey all!

I want to thank you all for the amazing support for DRR, first of all. It's been a journey watching it rise on RR, and I couldn't have done it without you all.

Discord server update: 

I'll be switching over from my personal discord server to the COTEH server, and updating the Patreon bot as necessary. I've chosen to do a joint server because I unfortunately can't spare the time to moderate, and the kind folks there have agreed to help.

A role has been set up that will give you access to DRR channels. I'll look into Patreon-specific channels and roles in the morning! I'll also post all art/references there.

Scheduling Update:

Those on the Edge Cases tiers might have noticed I haven't updated it for a while, and I've also stopped updating RoyalRoad. I haven't abandoned the story - I've been trying to get this next chapter out before doing an announcement, but it's obviously been taking too long, so I'm just doing the announcement now.

My back has been getting steadily worse. It's to the point right now where it's a near-constant ache, and my right leg goes numb if I try to walk for more than a minute. It normally wouldn't affect my writing, except of late it's been difficult to find a position I can even write in without being in pain - it's caused a massive and unexpected slowdown in my schedule. 

Edge Cases:

I'm sorry the next chapter is as late as it is. Edge Cases in particular is at an arc that's difficult for me to write, so I've had a lot of trouble with it.

It is not abandoned. I'm halting posting on RR until Edge Cases is as ahead as it needs to be. I am unsure if I'll be able to maintain the three-a-week schedule once I get over this next chapter, but book 3 will be done soon, and I'll evaluate how easy book 4 is to write when I get there.

Ideally, the next chapter will be out tomorrow.

DRR is going to get updates faster than RR will - the idea is three a week to RR's two a week.

I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to keep posting to a regular Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule or if I'll do a chapter dump on the weekends; I do most of my writing on the weekends, since I have to work a full time job during the week itself. Building a chapter backlog gives me the space to do some editing and reworking between them to make sure they flow smoothly.
