Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I'm going to be taking a week off at the end of this month. That is, there will be no upload on Patron on April 2, 2021 as I will be taking a week long break.
If you've followed me for any length of time, you know that I am subject to burnout as a result of high creative and personal expectations. At the place where I am right now, I can't change this fact about my creative process. However, through meditation, exercises, and some professional counseling, I've been making small steps toward being a healthier creator. Part of that is taking regular breaks instead of simply waiting till I'm a flaming dumpster fire and hitting you guys with a last minute announcement.
So, I'll be planning to take breaks once per quarter or so with the goal of reflection, improvement, and making my relationship with writing and Saint Limey more wholesome and balanced. We'll see if this helps to push off the sensation of burnout or the stagnation of my writing quality.
And, since you guys are here to read my stories and stuff, I figured it was pretty important that I stop and give you guys a heads-up as early in advance as I can manage. That just so happens to be right now.
Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Hope you all enjoy a break from my regular firehose of random content.
And thank you for understanding in advance. (I hope you guys understand, lol).
