Man, I really do feel sorry for Roamer here. He's already had to deal with Kargo and Ferah hiding the truth about Ronja being a member of the meteor tribe for several weeks. And now, he finds out that Rhov and Jahla, his own family, lied to him about how Zilas died. That his friend was in truth murdered, but former members of the very tribe they're returning to. So many lies, and the liar's only saving grace is that they didn't have any bad intentions. That said, I do feel that Roamer and Rogio do have an important bond they're developing. Whether it ends up being platonic or romantic remains to be seen, due to the beginnings of the new unknown romance that will happen in this chapter. But it's an important one no matter what it ends up being. Because so far, Rogio's been the only one who's been honest with Roamer about these difficult truths. Honest, when others have hidden and lied about such truths from him, due to feeling that he couldn't handle said truths/isn't ready for them. But as we've seen, Roamer is an adult who's capable of dealing with those difficult truths, even though the others haven't really treated him as such. This does make me wonder how he'll react to being reunited with Ronja again, especially in light of her banishing Ranach and Ulfr, the last two living dogs of the tribe who directly had a hand in Zilas' death. Things may very well be tense, awkward and difficult at first, But I feel that if they're honest with each other, and do away with the secrets and lies, it'll be much better for both of them. A lot remains to be seen about what will happen concerning the development of Roamer's relationships to the other characters. But I, for one, am eager to see it. Many of the relationships Roamer had are now strained due to him now realizing they lied to him about important matters, and only time will tell how things play out.

Technically (in my opinion im still sleeping off a hangover atm), Jahla wasn't wrong he WAS hunting apparently at the time when the incident occurred. I wouldn't call this a Lie more so bending the truth some. She just chose to leave out deeper details.

Well.... the cat's out of the bag... literally... the fact that Jahla's "white lie" caught up to Roamer really hit home...

Life is a lie. I feel sorry for Roamer, he deserves to know everything the others hide to him.

Man this revelation has to make the thought of actually meeting the Meteor Tribe that much more unpleasant for Roamer, especially since he now knows Ronja is there and leading them. I wonder how he'll take this in the next few pages and how he'll confront her, it can't be good. Not that I think he'll blame her or anything. I also wonder if they'll see some kind of grave for Zilas in the village.

Oh no. So far Rogio has been the only one who wishes to not hide things from Roamer. I think they are going to develop a very important bond, albeit hopefully not a romantic one, because I think a friendship will serve both of them better

More unwrapping lies for Roamer, yikes. That smell the start of a future lack of trust behavior
