I wonder if Koegos isnt hurt but feels sorry for Ranach, because he nearly has tears in his eyes, so it's clear that rejection has to do something with his past.
However, like others said, I don't have sympathy for Ranach. He did that to himself, all of it. He had a lover but he sacrificed him, he could have Ronja if he had treated her better, he could have a supporting tribe, he could have been better than his father. He had all the choices, even the one to start over with Ulfr whom he killed. He rejected the whisps too. He got many many chances, more so than most had including Kargo who died protection those he loved. No other chances for him. He deserves to be miserable.

I got no sympathy for those sad eyes on Ranach missing Rogio, he tried to sacrifice him and hurt him bad (attempted murder basically) I am glad to see him finally feeling some pain himself.

"In need for some company" is a little odd, but remember the dogs of aedra have a slightly different way of speaking. It could be purposely. "You've mistaken" is just as correct as "you're mistaken", though. Especially since he trails off, it could have been "You've mistaken me"

Koegos is ridiculously handsome. And while his approach was far left field for me (even though expected as followers of the Lustful Spirit), I really do respect him more now when he listened to Ranach’s wishes. Even the surprise and twinge of upset made me feel for him.

When Ranach told Koegos to leave, I wonder if he was flashing back to the time Rogio told Ranach to leave his tent, but Ranach didn't respect his request? Quite the mirror right there, but Koegos respected his request and left. But Ranach didn't leave despite Rogio's warning. Wow.

Pardon if it seems rude but "in need for some company" perhaps should be "in need of some company" and "you've mistaken" maybe should be changed to "you're mistaken"? ^^

I'm very surprised that Ranach turned him down, I wouldn't have expected that. Is Ranach changing? Or is he just moody after thinking about Rogio? I'm very curious about him. I don't think I'll ever trust him (I think I'll always expect the worst from him), but I'd like to imagine he has the ability to learn and change for the better.
I don't mean to make it sound like I think it's the "right" choice to turn down Koegos. I think him turning him down or accepting him is neutral, both neither good nor bad. I just mean that it's unexpected for him to turn him down, and maybe an indicator that he's changing in other ways? Normally I'd have expected him to jump at this kind of opportunity.

I wonder if he went into exile because he was involved with too many things as a Spy, because I'm getting vibes or mischief from this guy, but not as much vibes as a caring guy. I also wonder if he understands somehow, and just wants to help? Now this pack is bound together by the same fact they arent welcome elsewhere or left because of their own terms. I think something happened with him out of his control and seeks sexual activity as sort of an escape or really just wants to comfort Ranach, despite his past he probably knows nothing about. Regardless, I'm interested.
As for Ranach, I think this is clear he still has feelings for Rogio. This new character(Already forgot his name lol) not only reminds him via looks, but is now drawing lines for possible family lineage. Hell, Ranach is probably feeling overwhelmed for once about what to do in the situation. What if he is Rogios relative SOMEHOW and he finds out Oreo face killed him? On the flip side, Ranach and the two are drawn together in the same instance. So many theories here.

Page 579 gives a good explanation for where this might be coming from- their guardian spirit is the Spirit of Lust. Koegos is just lookin to get with a fine lookin guy (blech to say that about Ranach)

I may just he spouting nonsense, but Ranach seems to capture everyones attention, at the least dogs that allowing themselves to get wrapped up in his charm. Koegos is probably caught in Ranach's "trap" so to speak. I am surprised that Ranach turns him away.
I've never really commented like this, but uh, Idk what I am even talking about lol 😅

Unexpected. But I feel like I’m getting reeled in again to feel bad for him and then he’s going to do something rude 😂
