They didn't split up relationship wise, Rogio is just going on a journey but now they are officially a couple. Going away somewhere doesn't mean the relationship ends.
Rogio is now Roamer's family too, and he felt the need to come with him to help protect him since Rogio is not in his best state of mind right now, but he respected Rogio's wishes to go alone.

Yea, I wish Ranach died instead and Kargo went to Southspear for his redemption. Healing further and becoming a fun bounty hunter. That journey would have been super interesting to have him go all on his own. Rogio is just this mopey character I really can't get past to care for. Seems super toxic for Roamer too.

I dunno how I feel about Spirit info. They so random at times. Yea, they just reaffirmed their relationship to just split up again. Roamer feels all over the place too. He was adamant about his duty to family and all of a sudden without a thought he decided to accompany Rogio. Abandoning his initial goal of staying. =/

On the subject of spirits and Rogio's feelings about them, remember he said it was an upset spirit that destroyed and scattered his original family and tribe... wonder what happened there. No wonder he doesn't want anything to do with them.

Rogio: I’ll never shut you out again
Also Rogio: This is a journey I must make alone

My heart is happy, but I hope Rogio stays true to his word and doesn’t leave Roamer in the dark again. Mount Aregh is pretty far, I hope he’ll be safe.

A much better exit than earlier in my opinion. I hope he finds peace.

Remember when Roamer was talking about the hot springs. That it will only help those who are good and burn the ones that have evil intent. I can't exactly remember the conversation but Roamer said something about how there isn't any penalties for going there but then Rogio said that you can never trust a promise like that and mentioned that how Ferah got hurt and almost died shortly after visiting the hot springs. Rogio distrusts the spirits and would much rather not deal with them at all to protect himself

Can someone refresh my memory, were there previous conversations in the comic about how Rogio feels about the spirits? Also I unfortunately don’t believe Rogio when he says he won’t shut out Roamer again - I really feel for Roamer - but I am open to being wrong! I look forward to seeing what Rogio’s journey is like and how it affects him.

Maybe i just need to reread the whole comic, but i'm still sad that kargo isn't anymore outthere. I was never a huge fan of rogio, but i see forward for his journey.

I have this weird worry for Rogio. Usually "I need to make this journey alone" is another term for "kidnap me, I'm all by myself for the taking!" Hopefully thats not what it means though.

I’m very happy he’s going to be taking a well needed self journey, but boy I pray this man doesn’t get hurt or killed I love these two characters as individuals and I just want to see them happy and healthy! I’m glad Rogio says he won’t shut Roamer out again, hopefully it’s true because I don’t think Roamer would be so fond of it again. I’m just glad to see some tension lifted even if it’s just a little bit.
