2022-09-25 11:47:28 +0000 UTCThat’s true, and that’s how I believe it’s been justified, and it makes enough sense, imo, but would Roamer and the others come to that same conclusion, right away? I would think there would still be some disbelief, shock, wonderment, and overall questions about the why and how of his resurrection, because no matter how you look at it, it’s just not something that happens naturally, but eh, I guess we’ll see.

This is my assumption lol. Kargo was stuck in what I would call purgatory. Doesnt explain it all like his physical body and how he did come back but technically Kargos spirit was still alive.

And now that I think about it, I guess one could see Roamer’s slow paw raise to Kargo’s face here as a sort of disbelieving gesture, as if he cautiously has to touch him, to make sure he’s really there, before he fully embraces him, so I guess there’s that, at least. And I do realize that anything else would likely “break the moment”, so to speak, and this finale is perfect, as is, but even so… I just hope the why and how of his resurrection is addressed by them, eventually (but like you, I’m sure it will be; it’s kinda too big of a deal not to be, and I just wonder if it’ll have other characters questioning whether or not their own loved ones can be brought back). ^^

2022-06-08 09:28:01 +0000 UTCThis warmed my soul, that hug melted me. That smile on Rogio's face and Kargo finally letting go and giving into his feelings. All of them back together under the sunrise of a new day and indeed a new start. It actually inspired me enough to get the courage to move forward on some friendships and relationships of my own. Or at least start some talks I've been afraid to have. So thank you, look forward to the next chapter of adventure.

Like a warm ending to some hard days (or years in Kargos case): For Kargos sake I really hope he can catch a break now, he went through so much and while he did some horrible shit as well (but so did the others, honestly) he wasn't fully to blame for that given that he was "blessed" with a spirit that pretty much made him berserker mode whenever he got angry. We've seen now that he's still the old Kargo but more reflective, more soft than he was before and I truly hope he can breathe for once in his life. Also, whisps are back. Guess they didn't just lead Roamer to Rogio then but also to Kargo. I do hope we'll get more of Kargos and Rogios friendship, they had a nice chemistry going on.

I was thinking maybe it wasn't included in here bc we had the whole "how could you still be alive?! We burned you!" with Rogio already and it would kinda be repeated but otherwise, Im sure they will talk about that one way or another!

2022-06-08 07:45:42 +0000 UTCI guess so… but bringing someone back from the dead just seems a little *too* extreme, even for what they’ve seen so far, at least in my opinion. I mean, he may start thinking… why does anyone even get upset from the death of a loved one, if they can apparently be resurrected? Maybe he’ll even think of Zilas, and how he was murdered unfairly, yet he doesn’t get to come back? Or can/does he? At any rate, I think it should be clear to all of them that this isn’t something that just happens every day, even with all the other abnormal occurrences that are similar. Otherwise, death would truly mean nothing to them, and it’s clear from what we’ve seen so far, this isn’t the case. So I think that Kargo is the exception, not the rule, so to speak… and for that reason, I would really expect at least one of the dogs to question exactly why he is back from the dead, and how. But, like I said, I’ll just assume that it’s coming, at some point (even if it’s only brought up naturally when Rogio tells what happened on his journey). *shrugs*

2022-06-08 06:37:34 +0000 UTCAs beautiful as this page is (and believe me, I love it), I can’t help but wonder… why Roamer isn’t even questioning how Kargo is back from the dead? I mean, this isn’t a case of him not being sure he died; he *saw* him die, after all, watched them burn his corpse… and now he’s suddenly back, with no explanation? Of course, maybe that’s coming later, and they’re all just enjoying the moment, right now (a sort of, “celebrate now, ask questions later” kind of thing), but even so… it just seems kinda weird, to me. I expected him to at least say something like, “How…?” even if he didn’t voice the whole question. XD

Seems like the irrbloss spell out something, but i'd also just like to think they are happy everyone (especially kargo, roamer, rogio and diarko) finally are where they are deserving to be: together, at home, at peace and most importantly: so loved! I adore how soft this reunion was, how kargo and roamer got to cry about this together, and how happy rogio is about it, it felt so real, how it all fell off their shoulders as they hugged and the second to last panel, with all the tribe together, just feels so good, this happy little family. I cannot wait for the next chapter, i know i said it before but so many reunions: ferah/kargo, rhov/ronja and Roamer (and ofc the girls!), rhov/keirr, just....so many i will cry my eyes out at.

He’s such a compelling character and I just want him to know how much those around him care for him. This is such a beautiful page and I believe it is the best one.
