I’m happy to finally see the Asmundr pack again, but I just find it odd that even though Whispervale and Meteor were both at war against the raiders Keirr was nowhere to be found. It seems out of character for him to sit it out considering he’s both very family oriented and courageous. I’m sad him and Aira get left out so much.

2023-08-18 23:05:48 +0000 UTCPhew, I’m so glad that Fraujar was understanding of Ronja’s explanation, and that they didn’t have a fight. Combined with Fjordor’s sweet, heartfelt reaction to seeing Kargo again, in the last page (that I didn’t comment on, but I loved it), even despite the tension that they had the last time they saw each other, the outcome for the battle has went better than I could’ve imagined (especially since no one was actually lost in the fight, though there were some frighteningly close calls). It’s a welcome relief, for sure. That being said, though, I still have a bad feeling that Nordgarde’s trouble is just beginning… after all, one of the raid leaders escaped, and he clearly saw Kargo without his disguise. I have no doubt that he’s going to let the Capital know about that, as soon as he has the chance. And seeing the blood dripping down the waterfall… is this a clue of something that is going to happen with the blood mixing with the water? Maybe something related to a spirit (evil or otherwise)? Hmm… Moving onto the Asmundr crew: it is so nice to see them being featured in the story again! Don’t get me wrong, I love the new characters, but the original cast will always remain near and dear to my heart. I can only hope we’ll get to see them reunite with the rest of their family soon (I’m especially looking forward to seeing Johann finally get to meet his grand-pups), and that Marduk’s intentions aren’t *too* sinister… Is it just me, though, or does Lifa look… different, somehow? Honestly, I thought she was some kind of new male when I first saw her, until I recognized the markings, as well as the current scene with the Asmundr pack; she just looks so… bulky, compared to how she used to be? Her face seems fuller? I don’t know, maybe it’s just the way she’s posed or something. 😅

2023-08-18 20:45:45 +0000 UTCWell, it is juggling between 4 groups. Group A ( Nordgarde ), group B ( Havenreach ), Group C ( Southspear ) and group D ( Asmundr/Rhov ). So far they've been alterning rather equally from one to another in those 2 chapters 🤔
