Progress Update (4-8-19)

Hey all, I'm happy to announce that as of about 15 minutes ago a major part of the video making process is now 100% completed, now I get to start grinding away at finishing the script proper (even in its unfinished state I'm extremely pleased with it) and doing a bit of preparation for the editing phase. Been reading some bits from the script out to my friends as a way to sort of test which jokes land and which don't, something I started doing while writing the last video, and it's helping me immensely. I feel like I've finally REALLY found my own voice in these scripts, forcing myself to write the last video with a set of specific challenges in mind has helped me basically drop a few habits I was using as crutches when it came to writing jokes.
About a year ago I hit a really big lull in how much I enjoyed this job, but I've been really reinvigorated lately and am really excited to show y'all the stuff I've got cooking up. After this video goes live there will be a proper Patreon update posted to the channel to announce some changes (patron backer credits tiers and stuff) since I'll finally have the assets I need for them finished up. It's slow going and fairly expensive (because I'm me and names scrolling on a black screen is a bit dull for my liking), but I think y'all are gonna love it when it's done.
