IMPORTANT - Upcoming Patreon Billing Changes
Added 2024-08-12 17:14:57 +0000 UTCJust FYI to everyone, Apple IOS store is forcing Patreon to pay 30% of revenue to them if you subscribe through the ios app. So, what does this mean if you are one of the users who do this?
This change is happening rather soon and will affect your price automatically across everyone you subscribe to on Patreon (it's not just a me thing). To my understanding, there will be a 30% price increase for those using the iOS app. So Patreon is adding that to the users who use the app as their primary subscription source. You'll see a difference in price between iOS and other ways of access patreon like Android or via a web browser. This is not money I see or anything, this goes directly to Apple.

If you don't want to get hit by a sudden price increase, my suggestion would be to delete the app from your phone and instead just use the web browser version either on your iphone or your laptop/pc.
