Developer's Journal 2:31

Hey everybody.  I've attached my updated render numbers so you can see my progress.  I'm now up to over 1,800 post-worked renders.  Again, a strikethrough indicates I'm mostly done with that scene.  I'm going to stop trying to predict the playthrough time since my estimates jump around.  Once it's released I'll ask you all tell me how long it took you.  It's a pretty good length at this point, that's all I know.

I'm working on multiple scenes at once now because I was getting tired of working for weeks on just one scene.  As I mentioned in Discord, I'll have some previews of Jamie's museum date-but-not-a-date for you next week.  Those will be the last preview renders before I release Episode Two, but also as I promised a few weeks ago I'll do a special all-tiers bonus render for you guys to make up for no more previews.

How much longer until the update?  I think I can be done with still renders by the end of June (not a promise) but I suspect I may end up with a little bit of an animation bottleneck.  If that does happen, it will just mean that I start work on Episode Three renders while my animation guy finishes up Episode Two--work won't stall to wait for the animations.

I'll also need some time to make revisions after I give it to the playtesters.  I know some devs use their top tier supporters as their playtesters, but I have chosen to engage some very good people exclusively for that purpose.  I definitely appreciate the feedback from and mistakes caught by all of my supporters, but my goal will always be to have the best possible product by the time my supporters get the game.  Through the support you give me you have earned the right to enjoy playing the best version of the game I can give you.
