Hey everybody.
I'd drafted a bit more developer commentary for this week's journal, but it feels small after what happened today in Pennsylvania. In many western countries we tend to take free political elections for granted, but the fact is there are many countries in this supposedly enlightened, cosmopolitan world in which politicians are routinely murdered. And while we are all upset that an innocent person was killed by one individual's effort to thwart democracy, hundreds more innocent civilians around the world die everyday from political violence in not only Ukraine and Gaza, but in dozens of other armed conflicts throughout the world.
It's a reminder for those, like myself, who are fortunate enough to live in peaceful communities to not take for granted what we have, and to never forget the sacrifices made by so many others that bought us that peace.
I've finished the scene I'd been working on for the last couple of weeks and I'll be starting with something new this week. Thank you for your support!
