Greetings, one and all!
In response to feedback, I've been working on an updated version of the book cover art (painted by yours truly) in an effort to improve it in several key ways. What do you guys think? Let me know in the poll below.
Thanks!
Max

Cover Art Changelog
General:
Pulled the view back to show more of the characters (from head to toe now instead of just from mid-thigh up) and their background environment.
Undead Creature:
Redrew portions of his right arm (the one hanging down at his side) to improve the anatomical correctness of the musculature (his delts, pec, forearm).
Redrew portions of his loincloth.
Redrew portions of his rearmost leg & added heavy shadowing to emphasize its depth in the scene.
Slightly increased brightness of this character.
Female Hero:
Updated the color palette used for her various skin tones to create greater contrast between them.
Completely repainted all shadows & highlighting on her skin, using the new color tones, and employing larger, more obvious shadows & highlights to create a greater sense of depth & surface variation.
With the more obvious shadows & highlights in place, I also removed most of the heavy outlines that were present on her interior spaces (such as those marking muscle definition) to let subtler cues take their place.
Slightly darkened the colors used on her skin tones, hair color, and clothing items.
Redrew portions of torso to better reflect the twist in her upper body as she looks back.
Adjusted the fit of her bodice so it better follows the slanting angle of her body.
Background & Misc:
Increased color saturation of background scene.
Added multi-hued layers of fog wreathing the lower legs of the two characters.
Extended the lower edges of the background art with newly painted portions to accommodate the updated layout.
Adjusted the size & spacing of the title text.
