March 2022 Newsletter

Hello all!

It has been an extremely hectic year so far, but it is a very good kind of hectic that we are here to update you on.

First, we've been cranking out the episodes of all of your favorite programs. We've done some great episodes of Game Studies Study Buddies, Just King Things, and Homestuck Made This World. We've been hard at work at doing those programs and making sure we're delivering that high-quality stuff you've gotten used to. We're lining up some truly great stuff to watch for Homestuck Made This World bonusodes and we have some shockingly good guests coming up very soon for Just King Things. So that's all super exciting!

We have some really, truly exciting news to share about what we've been up to for the past couple months: Michael and CMRN flew to Colorado to see the opera adaptation of The Shining. They also went to the Stanley Hotel and spent the night. They hired a videographer to capture the whole thing, and they're making a little mini-doc on the experience. That's coming to all of you sometime (hopefully) in April, alongside a two-hour podcast that they recorded the morning after seeing the show.

This cross-country trip was only possible due to this patreon, so we thank you a huge amount of your support and allowing us to see and talk about this truly strange and unique thing. 

Note: I never know what kind of voice to write these newsletters in. My god, look at the different subject positions from the past two paragraphs.

Anyway, we will be back to much more normal newsletter updates next month, and we appreciate your patience! 

The new Ranged Touch podcast this month is a massive two hours about Danni and CMRN putting a combined 150-200 hours into Elden Ring since release (biased heavily toward Danni). The first half is just general thoughts, and the second half is spoiler-heavy story stuff.
