Just King Things Bonusode - The Green Mile (1999)
Added 2023-08-14 13:35:12 +0000 UTCWe've got the Darabont double whammy. From the highest highs of The Mist to the lowest lows of The Green Mile, we've got all the stuff you want to hear about the making of this movie and the absolute abysmal experience of watching it. Overlong, poorly considered, starring your best friend Tom Hanks, this surely was a thing that a lot of money was spent on.
A brief note: due to a request from the striking actors, we're avoiding movies as bonusodes for a little while (we've got some great stuff planned, don't worry). However, we recorded this several weeks ago before the podcast clarifications came down, so we're going ahead and releasing it. Our strong recommendation, strike-based and not-strike-based, is that you do not watch this movie.

FYI Jermaine Clement is Jewish and Māori so i think he gets a pass bc he’s in that group of “ethnically ambiguous catch-all” actors
