What should be Moulinette next goal?
Added 2021-10-20 02:11:22 +0000 UTCI'd like to the share with you some thoughts and ideas and see if there is an interest. Feel free to suggest other ideas in the comments.
- Moulinette Cloud without downloads : assets would be served directly from the cloud without downloading them to your FVTT instance. Pros : takes no space at all, will be faster to use for GM but also for users (specially if your server has a limited bandwidth). Cons : more infrastructure costs (my problem). You loose access to assets when you stop supporting a creator.
- Better tagging/categorization capabilities : with large collections (75 GB available on Cloud, potentially more locally), finding assets is always a challenge. Improving the search engine and categorizing capabilities would help reduce the effort for GMs
- More module integrations : I'd love to see Moulinette better integrated with existing modules. For instance, QuickInsert to quickly search Moulinette assets and use them anywhere (ex: image path). Let me know which partnership / integration you'd like to have.
- More external integrations : Moulinette implements Bing, BBC sounds and GameIcons searches. Any other integration that you'd like to see?
- Support for other types : Moulinette doesn't support all FVTT types like JournalArticles, Macros, etc. Any interest for these?

Late to the party here, but there are several Macro providers that I would love to see integrated. Another really useful tool would be some form of Actor integration. I know that it would be specific to the System that you were using and it also weird because these are currently distributed within modules/Compendiums, but then, so are Scenes. So I know it's weird, but I think there's a real value in being able to search Actors and distribute them appropriately.
