March release

Here are the new features for the march release.

Randomizer for Tiles (early access only)

When you prepare a scene, you probably often need to drop tiles or tokens of the same type (bushes, trees, chairs, villagers, etc.). Even if Moulinette makes it easy by letting you drag & drop a tile on a scene, it can still be tedious. This new release makes it way easier to batch dropping tiles or tokens :

• Randomly drag & drop a tile from a folder
• Randomly drag & drop a token from a folder
• Randomly drag & drop tiles/tokens among one of your favorites

Moulinette Faceted Search

The new interface is now available to all supporters. See my previous post for more details about Faceted Search. Thanks to almost 70 contributors, assets have now over 3000 categories set, improving the search everyday. 

New features

• Preview tile on mouse over
• Scenes are now available in the search (early access only)
• Scene preview resizable

Integration with The Token Vault

New integration that will be announced in a separated post very soon. If you support The Token Vault and have a Moulinette Cloud (private storage), you'll then be able to upload your tokens directly to Moulinette. 

For creators : Patreon paywall for bundles / large files

It might interest creators who have large bundles/files which cannot be hosted on Patreon directly but who want to protected them behind the same Patreon tiers. DigitalOcean provides very inexpensive storage (250 GB, 1 TB bandwidth, 5$), easy to manage. 

Typical use cases : 

• Make a large bundle available to your patrons (specific tier)
• Make a bundle available only to patrons who paid X$ so far
• Make a bundle available only to patrons who support you for at least X days
