I am pleased to announce that the new version of moulinette-imagesearch (version 10.1.0+) now officially supports Google Custom Search API (v1).
During a game session, it probably happens that you spontaneously want to show an image to your players (monster, scene, landscape, etc.). If you didn't prepare it for your game session, you'll have to search on your favorite search engine, download the image, upload it to FoundryVTT and create an article.
Moulinette lets you search on Google, Bing or Openverse and immediately create an article from one of the result. It will save you precious time and will make your players believe that you had already prepared everything, like a pro :-)
You can also use the images for other purposes, anywhere in FoundryVTT.
Yes. You don't need to support Moulinette to use it.
Search Engine limitations :
(*) Because Google Search API is limited to 10 results, Moulinette executes 3 requests (to fetch 30 results) every time. This means that you only get 33 search queries per day for free.
Visit Moulinette Image Search module page for more details.
