2021-11-26 01:36:54 +0000 UTCI saw the end of Hudson Hawk that year on Showtime and that beheading traumatized 11 year old me. Didn't expect that in a comedy. I recently gave in to Ishtar on Showtime streaming and it's not great but it's not awful. The songs are out of the box funny. Fitting how both are from Sony who were notorious for bombs back then like Leonard Part 6 and Baron Munchausen. I actually saw the latter as a kid in theaters. HBO and Showtime did the same thing with Comedy Central where Columbia Sony was on HBO and TriStar and Classics was on Showtime after they shared all of it for 3 years. They'd get some Columbia from Castle Rock and few other prouction companies, though.
