I LOVE Mans Best Friend! An OG classic that I’d rent on VHS at the grocery store! I still own it 📀

OJ Simpson celebrated his newfound freedom by watching it in theaters. Says quite a few things about him. Could never see it in theaters since it came out 2 weeks before I turned 15. Hell, I didn't see my first R in theaters until later with Birdcage. Saw some at dad's house on weekends and tame ones my mom watched first but full custody parent was strict. Fresh Prince was right about parents.

Thank you as always Diana 🖤

BTW: While I'm here... we are doing a Draculathon on the Discord next Saturday. Dracula (1931) -- 3:40pm EDT Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) -- 5:00pm EDT Dracula 2000 (2000) -- 7:15pm EDT Renfield (2023) -- 9:00pm EDT

Which drive-through burger? Please don't say McDonalds!

I saw Showgirls in the theater, first run. A friend of mine went to a different show. We both had the same reaction. It somehow managed to make beautiful nekked women become boring! But it did make me happy when Elizabeth Berkeley introduced it at a Hollywood Forever show. There were hundreds and hundreds of screaming fans their to watch it. She was really happy that night. Her introduction is a beautiful and joyous thing to watch.

If only Rifftrax did NC17 movies. I finally got around to it on Netflix years ago and I was satisfied with my expectations of it being in the vein of The Room, The Happening, Birdemic, et al. I'd rather watch an ambitious trainwreck bad movie than a boring one. The movie aired on TMC a year after they fired JBB. Unfortunate timing on that one. "Everybody got AIDS and shit!"

Got the house to myself I know what I'm watching tonight. Just stopped and the drive in burger place gonna fire it up as soon as I get home

Glitter is an act of warfare and I will not allow it in my house. Also, if you don't like Showgirls, you're wrong, because it is ENDLESSLY quotable and fun.
