It is weird, the son of god, or god (never understood that bit) was a trained carpenter. So god made stuff like chairs, carts, etc. But nothing he made was worth keeping and looking after! Wow , xian believe in the most useless being. Even the Egyptians have stuff they value from before Jesus and they worshiped even more crazy stuff, including cats. (Sorry Noah :-) )

2016-05-12 19:31:27 +0000 UTCI have never, fully, denied the existence of an historical Jesus. I have, however, explained that on a visit to Egypt I viewed the sarcophagus and death mask of King Tut. When I see this type of evidence for Jesus I'll come around on the 100% belief in his existence. Until then, I'll place the "likelihood" of his existence on the same level of Zeus, Dionysus or Perseus. Notice how they are all Greek words that end in "US"? I hope this stance does not exclude me from the group. Fun show guys!

2016-05-05 17:08:10 +0000 UTCAlthough generally in questions of religious historicity, the religious historians have a vested interest, while for the non-religious, as you mentioned, specific religious historicity is less important as they don't believe the supernatural claim being made, nor agree on any effect it should have on their lives now.
