Unfortunately, it's not password-protected RSS. It's just a link with a pre-authorized token in the URL, which means you can post that link anywhere and anyone can use it to get the patreon-only content. It used to be the case that links to individual episodes, which are stored in Amazon S3, could be used without authentication to get extended episodes; now, all those links are bundled together for your downloading convenience. Well done Patreon, you've managed to implement an even more insecure system than before. I hope you're not charging for it.
