This week, we go a little overboard on the bonus content. We may just love you too much.

It is amusing - If you talk to transgender people of my generation and younger and ask them if they would want a cyborg body - the answer is usually yes and how much modification can I have.

That's funny. When I feel bad about my home state of Kentucky, I am happy that at least I wasn't born in Texas. Let's both be happy we weren't born in Mississippi.

Deborah Dean

Whenever I feel bad about my state, Texas, I remember that Kentucky exists and feel just a little bit better.

Yay! PoGP! I'm so happy! The book of Abraham is so bad that if you can get a Mormon to think about it, you'll make them quit their religion. Like, "we can read Egyptian, we have the original manuscripts, Joseph didn't translate shit". There is a reason Mormon leaders are currently trying to bury it by not talking about it.

"Romeo and Muleiette" I'm still laughing!

I loved the diatribe, as usual, but I wanted to point out a silver lining: people who leave religion after having a ton of kids often create a bunch of little heathens! For example, I was raised Mormon, and my husband and I have four kids. We have friends in Georgia who have five kids. My sister and her husband also have four. All of us have left the church, and the kids are not only atheists, but they’re all well aware of the dangers of religion. They won’t make the mistake of thinking it’s good, or at least harmless, thanks to the trauma we all had to endure in order to leave. Being very religious does create a lot of religious offspring, but I think it also forces said offspring to take the issue seriously, and hopefully at least some of them will find their way out.

Oh god I STILL have the PofGP version of Joey's first vision memorized. {{{SHUDDER}}} It was pretty much chiseled into my memory as a mormon missionary decades ago. Can't wait to hear you guys go after this book.
