I listen to these as I'm working in the yard, and I don't normally listen to the very end. This time, I was busy, so I kept my earphones plugged in, and I got to hear Noah's story of renting a car and Eli's story of parking. Heh, heh. I'm going to have to listen to the end stuff more often!

2022-07-01 17:12:50 +0000 UTCJust want to let you all know that I'm a former third-party voter in 2016 who recognizes I fucked up and am partially responsible for the mess we're in now. It was my first election I could vote in, and I was in the military at the time and didn't do real due diligence on candidate policy or who they really were, I didn't like Trump but listened to the anti-Hilary rhetoric I kept hearing and decided voting for Gary Johnson was the best alternative. In hindsight that was idiotic. So, now I vote in every local, state, and national election almost exclusively down ballot for dems. So SOME people are cognizant & reachable. Unfortunately the damage has already been done.

2022-07-01 10:01:39 +0000 UTCI spent my whole life trying to live the way I was taught was right. Even while those who were telling me to live thar way were the ones who were undermining my efforts. I reached 33 years and thought I would never need an abortion. But the child I was so long trying to conceive had so many issues that I did end up having one. I have a story to tell but my writing abilities (obviously) are not up to doing that story justice. If anyone is a writer I search of material or if you know one please...I want to tell my story.

I don't even live in the US, but I'm feeling the effects of the SCOTUS decision here. I've been advocating for abortion rights for as long as I've been able to comprehend what abortion is. The news hit me hard, even knowing for years it would come to this. I've never been so angry, and Heath is absolutely right, we need to channel this collective rage into productive action. LET'S. GET. ORGANIZED!

2022-06-30 20:18:52 +0000 UTCI'm interested to know if Andrew was saying mifepristone as shorthand for mifepristone + misoprostol or if those two drugs will really be handled differently. Misoprostol alone has moderate effectiveness in early term abortions but both together is better. I've seen some reports about mifepristone alone, but not many. I don't think that's regularly done. Misoprostol has some relatively common non-abortion uses, so if it is treated differently, maybe that's why?
