What Is It?
This is an editorial piece, which takes a look at Lily Hoshikawa: the pint-sized zombie idol, who earned an irreplaceable spot in the hearts of the trans anime fan community almost overnight.
How Did Patreon Power It?
This was originally meant to be a companion to my Double Decker! article, with an estimated completion time of about a week. (Oops!)
Unfortunately, much of the work wouldn't be done until I was able to take my scheduled night off for January. I ended up writing the vast majority of this piece during that evening, and fleshing it out in the couple of weeks that followed.
So, in this light, Patreon funds paid for the night of news coverage ($60 USD in this case - $20/article ), which allowed me to take the time to write the editorial.
