Title: My Roommate Is A Cat - The New Patron Series of Creative Professionals
This is an op-ed, which takes a look at cat-tastic Winter 2019 series "My Roommate Is A Cat", and the way that the series' relatability allows it to tell a tale that accurately captures the life of a creative professional who's also a pet owner.
This is another case where the article would not exist without the help of our patrons. The article came up as a short concept by L.B. during the open pitch window. The idea was cute enough, and L.B.'s pieces have always been crowd-pleasers - I was happy to greenlight the article.
Patreon funds paid for this piece in its entirety. As always, with longform articles, we don't disclose numbers publicly (This will change soon; contributor guidelines are in the works now, and we're nailing down the final details), but I will state that our prices are comparable to other outlets.
