The Times, They Are A-changin'
Added 2018-05-30 13:15:02 +0000 UTCHi everyone! Before I begin, I wanted to give a huge "thank you" to everyone who took our survey over the weekend. I didn't really explain much at the time, but this was actually the first step toward a massive shift in the way we do our work.
Starting Monday, we began our new direction - we'll be cutting down on straight news content drastically, in favor of original content, editorials, etc.
I won't say much yet, but this isn't going to be your mama's Anime Herald. ๐We have more than 20 years of expertise under our roof, and we're going to be making every one of those years shine as brilliantly as possible. So, expect fewer works like this, and more like this.
We have a few bigger articles in the works already, and one of two landmark interviews in for a final "OK" with the interviewee... so we're well on our way to bringing nerdy talk back as an art form. ๐
Also, this weekend, we'll be taking the Herald down for a few hours while we get a major redesign in place. The new format will, well... you know what? I'm not going to spoil the surprise! Just know that we're in exciting times right now.
