A Sneak Peek At The New Anime Herald

Hi everyone,

As many of you know, we've been hard at work on a full, ground-up redesign for Anime Herald. We partnered with Hand Designed Co. - a design firm helmed by the team of designer Katy Castillo, and developer Chris Brailsford - to craft a design that's clean, efficient, and accessible.

I'm pleased to announce that they've done an outstanding job crafting a site that embodies Anime Herald as a publication. It shines a real spotlight on the authors, editors, and articles that make us the magazine you know and love.

We're currently in the final phases of development, and doing final testing and bugfixes before launch. If all goes well, we'll be debuting the new design in mid-February.

But, more than that, we're excited to show you a sneak preview of our new site ahead of the big launch day.

I'd like to extend my deepest thanks to Katy and Chris, who have been incredible partners over the course of the project. They've been attentive and professional every step of the way, and they were able to take my own weird, vague descriptions and turn them into something genuinely special. But, more than that, they're great friends and outstanding professionals.

Be sure to check out Yatta-Tachi, which is owned and operated by Katy, and where Chris serves as the publication's Head of Operations. Their release charts are indispensable resources, and their guides are nothing short of outstanding.

I'd also like to thank all of you reading this, whose support has been absolutely vital as we grow and evolve. We wouldn't be here without you, and we look forward to finding new ways to make you smile in the coming year.
