The holiday season is upon us, and the days are growing shorter. The past year has been a busy one, as we’ve published more than 70 articles and interviews since January. We’re actively working on a full site redesign that’s slated to launch early next year, and we’re gearing up for a big feature for next week’s Anime NYC convention.
Our team has also grown over the past year. On the editorial side, we welcomed Trent Cannon and Cy Catwell, who have been working with writers to help bring more outstanding articles to life.
Moreover, we've welcomed a pair of writers onto the staff. Borealis Capps and Lauren Orsini are in charge of a pair of new columns that will launch with the redesign. These will be shorter, breezier reads that will run in the middle of the week. In keeping with our e-zine identity, we're calling these columns "Sidebars."
Our patrons at the Early Access tier and above can expect to see previews of our first Sidebar articles coming in a couple of weeks.
Beyond this, I wanted to talk about the upcoming holiday season. In keeping with our annual traditions, our team will be taking a short break over the holiday season. Specifically:
- We will not be posting a new article on November 25. This is Thanksgiving weekend in the USA, and we want our team to enjoy time with their friends and loved ones over the weekend.
- Our annual holiday break will run from December 16 through January 6. That said, we won’t let the well run dry, as we have a few articles that are ready to roll for Early Access.
