2024-08-27 19:02:35 +0000 UTCI feel so validated by this episode- I described your videos to my boyfriend the exact way you phrased it around minute 46- like I actually relate so much to the buckwild crazy ass heinous ideas you present in some videos- but of course they're not something a person would actually ACT on (hopefully) But for instance- the free ep of the other podcast (ep 15 I think?) about the harrowing experience of trying to see a movie after Thanksgiving. I 100% have had all those thoughts before when feeling my worst-- so it's very cathartic to have those ideas be given such a loud voice in an entertaining way since usually they can feel very shameful when you're actually thinking them.

I personally like hearing about behind the scenes stories as well as your creative process and retrospective on videos. I can definitely understand the feeling of numbers = how good a post is, because when you aren't making much money a few flops in a row might mean you can't pay all your bills that month or something. I think as income becomes less of an issue and we get more comfortable making what we like, it becomes easier to say something is good because we like it, and it doesn't matter as much what most other people think (but of course we still hope that most others will like it).
