DELETED VIDEO 6/9/23 - Cat Prank Pt 2
Added 2023-06-10 13:45:49 +0000 UTCThis is another video deleted from yesterday. It is intended to a follow up of the "cat prank" video, in which I explain I'm going to prank my friend by asking them to cat sit even though I don't have a cat and staging my house so it looks like it escaped.
I deleted this mainly because I felt that it is redundant. Pt 1 to me seems funnier when you are left to imagine something like this eventually happening. Whatever one imagines happening as the fallout of the prank is probably going to be funnier than this and it's kind of implied. So this felt like I was just doing the same punchline again but worse.
One thing I thought was interesting was that people were mostly correctly guessing this was fake, but incorrectly guessing how it was fake. A lot of people seemed to think I recorded myself crying, and in reality this is a video of a woman crying from YouTube I've used many times.
So I guess somehow it sounds more fake than it actually is. Which is another big reason I deleted this video-- to keep it open ended that Pt 1 might have been real.
