Patreon Updates - 6/14/23

Hello all,

First of all, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support. In a very real sense, your contributions to the Patreon have saved my ass. I won't bore you with the details of my personal financials but your support keeps me afloat and making content. THANK YOU!

Secondly, I want to clarify what happened yesterday on the podcast. As I said, I was attempting to record in my car for better sound quality. I did not fully think this through as almost as soon as I began the car became unbearably hot. But, being a professional, I attempted to stick it out and craft what is now my longest podcast episode to date.

Around the 21-22 minute mark, you hear me stop talking. I have no memory of this, but this is likely when I became unconscious.

I was unconscious in the car for about 6 hours. The recording software I use automatically turns the mic off during periods of silence. So that's why, the very next sound you hear is my partner knocking on the window attempting to wake me up. Then, a violent glass explosion-- This is when the fire department arrived, broke the window, and began their resuscitation.

While I was discussing what happened with the fire fighter who saved my life, he recommended I invest in a new microphone so this type of thing doesn't happen again. Apparently he also hosts his own podcast about firefighting.

I decided to take his advice. So I am excited to announce that not only will the podcast now feature improved audio quality thanks to a new microphone, but I have also gotten a WEBCAM!

So, from now on, I will be making the video version of each episode available to inner circle members. Disciples can enjoy audio-only, albeit with better sound quality.

Eventually I will also be introducing LIVE STREAM events for patrons.

I'm very excited about these developments. I appreciate your patience as this work-in-progress creative effort evolves.

Have a wonderful day.

Daniel! You are hilarious and I love following along on your creative journey. I really enjoyed this weeks podcast, but omg the first 7.5 minutes had me laughing out loud like a crazy person. Love your content!

Hello Daniel! Hope you are feeling better today. I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge your remarkable efforts on delivering a top-notch podcast. Your determination and hard work for the better quality of the show did not go unnoticed, as yesterday's episode was an absolute masterpiece. However, I was a tad disappointed that the new segment was cut short. Regardless, I remain optimistic about its reappearance in the future. As for a video version of the podcast, I am unsure if I need this in my life, but your dedication has compelled me to move from disciple to inner circle.
