I was interview by my friend Taylor Lorenz for an article in Rolling Stone about how my style has influenced the social media landscape. I find it odd that there were other people included in the article-- I was not told this would be the case, and I don't see what value their contributions are adding. It would have made more sense to make the article about me entirely, as I feel this is what I deserve. No one else is doing what I am doing, or having the success that I am. Having my work minimized like this by someone I considered (past tense) a friend is incredibly insulting.
Frankly I feel like I deserve much more recognition than one measly article where I am lumped in with a bunch of others like livestock.
No matter what I do, it's never good enough. Figures.
