Good morning!
Yesterday I talked about our thoughts and how they affect us with either radiant health or the opposite.
I am fascinated by the discovery in the science world of how this is the truth. Studies have been done that test this and prove over and over that what we think has a profound effect on us. People who embrace this live healthier and more vibrant lives.
At the same time that I’ve been doing the brain research on this topic, I’ve been looking at people who live this way and how much more joyful and healthy they are than people half their age. Could our mindset matter this much? Oh, yes!
The truth is that God made us to be resilient and to grow stronger in the middle of opposition. He didn’t create fragile beings that just had to endure until they die. But, we all have a choice. We can see the miraculous way God heals and restores us or we can get lost in daily life and pretend like we don’t have a choice.
The more we saturate ourselves in truth, surround ourselves with this way of thinking through the people we surround ourselves with and the energy we allow into our space, the more we can live this life the way we are intended to!
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8
