Another nice swath of color. ๐ This is a keeper quote. I will try to remain optimistic for this world. And apolitical. Our society has become progressively secular since 2007. But I guess many resilient societies across history have weathered the storms of lack of clarity and many going astray. Like the waves receding back to the ocean, we will eventually fall back into a united community and flock together. The United States' legal tender is backed by the saying "In God We Trust". Those words meant so much in the 1700s. I hope they remain as important and foundational in the 2100s and beyond. And, hopefully, a similar sentiment is shared across the rest of the world. Humble servitude to whatever higher being you believe in. And I am talking to myself first. I'm not preaching, but I need to start practicing something. Thanks for promoting thought. Now I am thinking of Thomas Friedman ๐
