Okay guys, love you, but it's time to dispense some rough love about the writing for this Nerd Crew episode: I didn't really like this one. Mostly because the jokes are getting getting repetitive: oh ANOTHER rich evans overdoses on the medicine scene? We've only had what, 4 of those yet? Okay. Oh? Another machinery catching fire? Haven't seen that before... The reverse-gendered bit about superhero actors really made no sense, is Mike still salty about Ghostbusters remake? I mean, we all are, but what's funny about Hugh and Mark switching up their roles? That's not something that's rooted at all in the real world, same as Ben and Topher grace jokes, felt kinda flat to me, because you can imagine most of the other stuff they parody happen in some alternate reality, but this doesn't even make sense. I liked a couple of jokes here too: Gotta give it up for Boba Fett and FINALLY. Black Panther bit also was great, but I think you dropped the Ball on not mentioning the James Gunn situation even in passing, cause with the whole Marvel bit, it seemed kinda like you wanted to say SOMETHING about them, to not seem biased, but didn't have the mojo to say something about the topic, which y'know is on EVERYBODY'S MIND, and that's James Gunn jumping ship to DC. The gender-bender stuff felt like Mike's outtakes from Ghostbusters talk, and isn't very funny. But that's just my opinion, obviously I love RLM and Nerd Crew, but I felt like this wasn't all that funny and they could have had a more fresh take on stuff that's at least 5% rooted in reality and not just farce.
